This year I'll be looking forward to Holiday Traditions, Holiday Pops, and, of course, Escape, when they go all-Christmas. _________________ Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6

Why does it make a difference? They could wait to make the announcement the day before the channels launch and it wouldn't change your enjoyment of the channel one bit. |

I do too, Jeff. A date would be nice since we know that they already have the date set, I'm sure. |

Ok, since you're on the same page as Jeff, you can answer me too.

| 98.1 KUDL here in Kansas City, as well as 102.1 KCKC are our only "adult contemporary" stations. They both changed to all-Christmas formats on November 1st. |

This is exactly the reason why why Holly is a completely redundant Holiday channel--really, who in the US doesn't have access to two or more local FM stations converted to the usual Xmas mainstream in Nov-Dec?
I got XM to hear formats I couldn't find easily on commerical radio. Holiday traditions is fine. Radio Hannukah is fine. I wish to GOD they would bring back Special Xmas, a collection of odd Xmas music much of which I haven't heard elsewhere ("Santa Claus Is a Lie", "Grandma's Christmas Shirt", the Kleptones...). I've written XM/Sirius several times, but haven't had a response... |

I just woke up to this station, and just heard a "KansasCityHelpWanted.com" advertisement. This is why Sirius XM NEEDS Holly - commercials drive some people, like myself, nuts.
This is why satellite radio is nice to have. At least we're not losing our AC stations for this! |

I'm inbetween quite a few radio markets (2 major, 1 medium, 2 small) and no FM has gone all-Christmas yet. So at least here in the mid-Atlantic there's no "access". _________________ ~Td~

Yea, our Baltimore station usually goes All Christmas by the 10th or so..this year, they're waiting until 5:00 the day before Thanksgiving. They do have a countdown up on their website right now..
