When it is delivered by the carrier, it is scanned as---duh!---"delivered." The clerk scanners never leave the office so they are uploaded much more frequently than the carrier scanners which are often out of the office for six or seven hours. Here's a clever suggestion: if you have a complaint about the scanning at the St. Petersburg post office, maybe you could---oh, I don't know---contact the St. Petersburg post office, perhaps? By the way, the city I work in has an original name,
not a name stolen from ancient Russia. |
my only complaint with the post office these days is the fact that you never reply to my emails anymore. |

It was in Denver last night. It'll probably be delivered tomorrow. |

The Postal Service has contracts with various airlines to transport Priority Mail. Parcels with tracking numbers are scanned at postal facilities. If the plane carrying your parcel made a stop in Denver, then the schmucks in Florida apparently put it on a flight that went no farther west than Denver instead of on a non-stop flight to southern California. And the California-bound parcels on that plane wouldn't be taken to a postal facility in Denver---they'd be put on another plane that's heading to California. So why was your package scanned in Denver? I wants ta know!

The airlines make more money stuffing the bottom of the plane with cargo than they do stuffing the top of the plane with people. _________________ The one and only, XMFan.com!
